What race and class should I play on the Horde side?

I'm starting to play WoW again since the new Cataclysm expansion pack came out, but I'm having some qualms about which race and class I should pick. I'm starting over on a new server because I was having some problems on my old one. On my other server I had a level 55 paladin drenai, and I'm not sure if I should make another paladin, or start with with something fresh and new. I'll have my girlfriend to help me out on some of my ventures and I think she'll have a level 60 rogue, so what should I have to compliment that aspect? Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you alot. FOR THE HORDE!
